Robert Half Part-Time Dental Medical Receptionist in Indianapolis, Indiana
Description
The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a dental company in the Indianapolis area to find a Part-Time Dental Receptionist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic with a self-starter approach to work. This candidate would also need to have strong communication skills and attention to detail.
This is a contract to hire position. The schedule for the position is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30am-5pm.
Responsibilities for the position include the following:
Provide a warm and welcoming greeting to patients and visitors.
Ensure patients are checked-in and out effectively.
Verify patients' insurance coverage and collect copays.
Schedule appointments for patients.
Retrieve and prepare patient records.
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and helpful manner.
Communicate effectively with providers and other healthcare staff.
Protect patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
Medical Front Office experience preferred but not required.
Previous experience working in a dental environment is a plus!
Excellent phone etiquette
Intermediate computer skills including MS Office Suite
Strong attention to detail
