Lilly Operations Associate - IDAP Vial Packaging in Indianapolis, Indiana

The Operations Associate (OA) will report to the Operations Manager. The OA will be responsible for providing leadership within the area’s process team, managing projects and process improvements, acting as a liaison between operations and multiple functional groups to support event management, change controls, etc. The OA will also assist the operations team in the day-to-day management of the production floor and lead investigations and drive implementation of actions associated with deviations.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and build a strong safety culture

  • Interact and/or lead cross functional teams to deliver technical and business solutions

  • Provide project management oversite and/or input for local and major capital projects

  • Serve as the operations representative for commercialization projects

  • Trained to perform TrackWise activities such as Lead Investigator and Change Owner

  • Ensure processes remain in a state of validation

  • Support any improvements made to equipment, processes, or procedures

  • Assist with and perform troubleshooting activities for equipment

  • Development and monitoring of metrics

  • Investigate problems, conduct root cause analysis and implement countermeasures

  • Potential back-up to Manager

  • Lead specific activities of the process team

  • Develop and lead process improvements

  • Aid in issue resolution, batch/product approvals, and production schedule execution

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience in cGMP production)

  • 2 or more years cGMP experience or support

Additional Preferences:

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely, and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals

  • Technical degree (engineering, supply chain, science) preferred

  • Career interests in operations leadership

  • Device Assembly or Parenteral Manufacturing experience

Additional Information:

  • Must be flexible to attend meeting or support off-shifts (operations is 24/7)
