Description
Corteva Agriscience is seeking a North America Integrated Health Services (IHS) Manager to lead NA IHS team, ensuring that all the sites in North America are in compliance with Corporate IHS Standards and other regional health legal requirements. This manager will be based in Indianapolis, will work connected with EHS&S, HR, Legal and Business leaders. This person will report to the Global IHS leader.

What You'll Do:
Leads NA health team, ensuring that everyone is in line with corporate programs and other legal requirements.
Manage health partner contracts, seeking continuous improvement in the tools and services provided.
Managing worker's compensation claims and record
Support Global IHS with Fitness for Duty Program in the region.
Overseeing and implementing emergency and disaster preparedness programs and planning
Work with Global IHS team on IHS Management system review.
Document the nursing process in care management via assessment, diagnoses, and treatments consistent with appropriate standards and laws.
Identify the need for case management intervention and be able to conduct a thorough and objective assessment of the client's status and case management needs.
Coordinate client health screening and surveillance programs and services and monitor the work environment to protect the health and safety of workers.
Implement occupational and environmental health and safety education and training.
Coordinate cost-effective occupational health services and programs and monitor for the best quality, most cost-effective vendor products and services.
Identify and share resources and applications that help support relevant, evidence-based practices.
Bring awareness of current legislative activities that may impact nursing practices, workers, workplaces, and the environment.
Health Promotion and Disease Prevention: Assess the health needs of workers and worker populations.
Maintain scientific, regulatory, and business knowledge appropriate to the nursing profession.
Performs work site visits and maintains current knowledge of local hazards, toxicity of materials and relevant emergency medical care.
Assists in the professional development of staff.
Seek to apply technology in internal processes, using computerized systems (like Enterprise Health)
Manage restricted and remote employees, always seeking the well-being of the employee and productive work opportunities.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing School
Certification as Occupational Health Nurse
What Skills You Need:
5 or more years in occupational health-related field or medical facility
Equivalent related education and experience may be considered
At least 3-5 years of supervisory experience
Good leadership skills
Use of Microsoft tools and ability with IT as a computer user
Creative, open mind and good communication
