We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our Assembly line team. This role requires a strong technical experience in industrial machinery, electrical systems, mechanical systems, and control systems. The individual will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to start contributing immediately. The primary duties involve troubleshooting and repairing various types of industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot machine malfunctions using knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
Diagnose and repair issues with electrical wiring systems.
Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems on industrial equipment.
Evaluate equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize production downtime.
Modify equipment as needed to improve safety, quality, productivity, and reliability.
Provide support in the maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment, including major overhauls.
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial manufacturing.
Perform other duties as assigned, which could include additional maintenance or operational tasks.
Essential Skills
Associate's Degree in an Engineering Discipline
1-5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing setting
2+ years of experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of manufacturing equipment (pneumatics, hydraulic systems on equipment)
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards manufacturing environment work
Tooling/Fixture Design experience - Design for Manufacturing
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Excellent communication skills; candidate must be comfortable providing briefings at all levels of management
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline (BSME, BSMET, BSEE, BSEET)
Work Environment
This role requires 100% of the time spent on the manufacturing floor. The position is not an office job and involves working Monday through Friday, from 5:45 AM EST to 4:30 PM EST. The average weekly hours range from 50 to 55 hours.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $40.06
