Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will lead service technicians on the team in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects.
Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures
Maintain positive working relationships across all of the Amazon Operations facility
Maintain and troubleshoot building conveyor systems
Handle and audit preventative maintenance procedures
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot monitoring equipment
Handle work orders with detailed supporting data
Develop training plans for technicians
Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets
Ability to move up to 49 lbs
Ability to stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation
Hard Skills
Understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practices
Industrial Maintenance
Material Handling Equipment
Belted Conveyance
Electrical troubleshooting
Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints
Documenting maintenance activities and repairs
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 13 Weekly.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Franklin, Indiana.
