Make a Difference

The Lead Radiologic Technologist performs leadership duties associated with the daily operations of the Radiology department.

Exceptional Skills

  • Assist with planning and issuing a staff work schedule.

  • Serves as a department preceptor and orientation coordinator.

  • Serves as a department resource person and liaison with ancillary departments.

  • Facilitates the needed training for new equipment.

  • Oversees the quality and completeness of all imaging procedures.

  • Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring.

  • Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items and patient monitoring devices.

  • Ability to build, motivate, and lead a high performing team.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology (required)

  • Required CertIfications/Licensures: Radiologic Technologist by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA), Certified Radiography (R)(ARRT))

  • 2+ years Radiology clinical experience (required)

  • 1+ years Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
