Aerotek Foreman Finish Carpenter in Indianapolis, Indiana

Job Description

The Foreman Carpenter will oversee a team of 4-5+ carpenters on the interior finishes of a commercial construction site. Key responsibilities include installation of metal stud framing, doors and hardware, casework, cabinetry, acoustical ceilings/drop ceilings, and trim. This role involves 10-15% oversight and 85-90% hands-on work alongside the crew. The Lead Carpenter will read blueprints/drawings to ensure layout accuracy, maintain a safe and clean work site, handle daily safety toolbox talks, document attendee details, and communicate effectively with superintendents, crew, and other trades on-site.
