As a Farm Training Intern you will:
Perform projects to improve training practices and procedures.
Assist in the development, creation and implementation of training programs and modules in the areas of farming, agriculture, and farm insurance.
Evaluate current training programs regarding effectiveness and provide feedback for improvement.
Learn to identify risks and hazards on farming operations.
Recommend risk improvements and/or loss control measures related to farming operations.
Assist farm underwriting staff in resolving problems and questions.
Establish positive public relations with insured, and the public through professional conduct and appearance.
Effectively communicate decisions, recommendations, and job-related information to internal and external customers.
Gather and interpret data relating to farm structures.
Promote good working relationships with all Company divisions.
We are looking for students majoring or minoring in Agriculture or related field.
