Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Farm Training Intern - Summer 2025 in Indianapolis, Indiana

As a Farm Training Intern you will:

  • Perform projects to improve training practices and procedures.

  • Assist in the development, creation and implementation of training programs and modules in the areas of farming, agriculture, and farm insurance.

  • Evaluate current training programs regarding effectiveness and provide feedback for improvement.

  • Learn to identify risks and hazards on farming operations.

  • Recommend risk improvements and/or loss control measures related to farming operations.

  • Assist farm underwriting staff in resolving problems and questions.

  • Establish positive public relations with insured, and the public through professional conduct and appearance.

  • Effectively communicate decisions, recommendations, and job-related information to internal and external customers.

  • Gather and interpret data relating to farm structures.

  • Promote good working relationships with all Company divisions.

We are looking for students majoring or minoring in Agriculture or related field.
