Job Summary:
As the Director of Data Center Infrastructure Quality and Commissioning, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and operational readiness of our data infrastructure. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving the strategic vision for our data center quality and commissioning processes, ensuring they align with our long-term organizational goals. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Include:
Oversight of quality and commissioning programs across colocation provider built projects as well as Oracle built projects.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies for data center quality and commissioning program requirements and management to align with organizational goals.
Coordination with the separately managed and contracted tenant fit out projects providing quality assurance support and commissioning coordination for designs of all natures including high density liquid cooling.
Quality Management: Oversee all phases of data center quality assurance and commissioning projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance experts, commissioning specialists, and technical professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Vendor Management: Select, negotiate, and manage contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
Budget Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure all quality and commissioning activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of construction and operational efficiency.
Innovation and Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating innovative solutions to enhance data center performance and sustainability.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and clear project updates.

US: Hiring Range: from $139,300 to $291,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
