Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Cleveland (Ohio) - Onsite/Hybrid
Duration - contract or direct hire
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Management, or similar degree
Minimum of 7 years in industry, 5 years leading IT project teams.
Experience establishing business justification and project budget, tracking spends and communicating current and projected resource burn rates.
Experience with effective program/project portfolio management standards, tools, and techniques.
Quick learner on varied technical platforms and forward looking on emerging technologies that may bring value to the business.
Vendor management skills in selection, negotiations and building long term “win-win” relationships.
Experience working in a matrixed operating model and managing multiple stakeholders in IT and Business.
Strong communicator, collaborator, and negotiator; builds effective internal and external relationships.
Ability to explain complex technology, and technology impact, in business terms.
Effective listening skills, focusing on determining business needs first to drive technical solutions.
Able to lead diverse business and technical teams across multi-site environments over a broad geography.
Demonstrated skills in managing IT projects in a complex and dynamic environment involving multiple applications and technology platforms.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Ability to travel to remote (domestic and international) locations, with travel demands varying by project from 0 to 10%.
PMP, Agile, and/or Lean Six Sigma certification a plus.
