We’re looking to speak with candidates based in eastern time zones of the United States for this remote or hybrid role.
Position Expectations
Accountable for project planning and execution, customer experience, and ensuring MongoDB delivery meets committed scope and budget
Employ project management excellence to navigate with agility the complex organizations of large enterprises, building mindshare to plan and execute programs likely to have ambiguous risks and challenges
Maintain excellence of project governance with internal and customer stakeholders, managing day-to-day project planning and execution, project scope, expectations and risks, and ensuring timelines are met and quality results produced
Lend support to pre-sale engagements to assist with scoping of solution and project scope definition
Adopt and contribute to the continuous improvement of MongoDB's engagement and project delivery methodologies
Confidently lead project meetings, owning meeting agenda and meeting outcomes
Lead the management of scope, change controls, customer expectations and timelines
Measures of Success
Collaborate directly with customers and other internal teams to lead and deliver high-quality, reference-able engagements
Of paramount importance is predictability: of forecasts for resource needs and revenue; of internal & customer stakeholder management; of outcomes; of risk management; of customer expectations and experience
Demonstrate eye for business through robust control of the internal and external budget, project margin, resource utilization and billability across your entire project portfolio
Candidate Profile
University degree or relevant work experience
5-7 years proven experience with enterprise-scale software solutions, large scale software engineering or consulting services delivery experience preferred
Demonstrated leadership skills within complex, transformative projects, with direct responsibility for leading project teams, delivering high quality results on schedule and within budget
Comfortable creating plans and priorities for both project delivery and customer resources
Demonstrated belief in the power of stakeholder management and communications; track record of affecting change through stakeholder engagement
Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written communication abilities
Certification or deep experience with standard frameworks such as the PMI PMBOK, or Scrum methodologies would be beneficial
Strong working knowledge of the Agile framework and related practices

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.
MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:
$90,000—$176,000 USD
