Honeywell Field Service Engineer I (Midwest Service Area) in Illinois, Illinois

As an Field Service Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced field service support to our customers, ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and repair of our products. Your expertise and knowledge will contribute to the success of our field service operations, optimizing processes and implementing best practices to enhance customer satisfaction. You will work from home reporting directly to client sites located In the Indianapolis, IN and Midwest-Northeast Service Areas. You will impact our customers by providing exceptional field service support, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering solutions that meet their needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide advanced field service support to customers, ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical/electrical PLC.

  • Troubleshoot complex problems and provide effective solutions

  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and internal teams

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement

COMPENSATION OVERVIEW

The annual base salary range for this position is $58,200 -$77,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 1+ years of proven PLC troubleshooting, repair and programming experience

  • 2+ years of material experience (conveyors, sorters, etc.)

  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Excellent communication and people-oriented skills

WE VALUE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

  • 5+ years of proven PLC troubleshooting, repair and programming experience

  • Experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices

  • Strong customer focus and dedication to customer satisfaction

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
