Battelle Energy Alliance dba Idaho National Laboratory Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator in Idaho Falls, Idaho

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to work on our Learning Administration team. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located at our Willow Creek Building onsite in Idaho Falls, Idaho with every other Friday off. You will report to the Learning Administration Manager.

You will be the LMS platform subject matter expert to support instructional specialist, line managers, program/requirements owners, and other important partners to ensure their program (training) requirements are implemented correctly within the LMS to comply their regulator requirements. You will build, maintain, and revise the LMS infrastructure that is required to ensure the delivery of training to our learners and maintains, and revise the LMS infrastructure that is required to group learners and assign training. Your work also involves many related tasks and activities involving general operation and maintenance of the LMS platform.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with Information Technology’s assigned programmer(s) to: o Act as the liaison between functional subject matter experts and programming development to ensure thorough communication of requirements and functionality. o Provides security system administration in assigned area of expertise. o Problem identification, mitigation, and resolution in server hardware, operating systems; and networking hardware and configuration. o Ensure system and data integrity by monitoring system controls and assuring compliance with established Company access controls and computer security procedures. Evaluate complex system interface data on a daily, weekly, and monthly interval to ensure system processing functions correctly.
  • Ensure all assigned activities are performed in a secure manner and following applicable laboratory excellence procedures, within safety authorizations, following security plans and requirements, in accordance with environmental permits and in full compliance with Laboratory, state, federal policies, procedures, directives and regulations.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field (i.e., Information Systems)
  • Relevant experience in Information Systems Administration.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities to successfully perform the essential functions of the position may be considered commensurate with level.

Preferred Experience:

  • Advanced Degree & 3 years' experience, or equivalent experience • Microsoft T-SQL Certification, Oracle PL/SQL Certification, Comp TIA A , CompTIA Network , Comp TIA Security , Microsoft Server Certification, ServiceNow Certification are desirable.

Job Information:

  • The pay range for this position is $75,804 min - $155,496 max. At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
  • You are required to show a demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment
  • TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
