Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide. Within Azure Hardware Systems & Infrastructure, the Spares Supply Chain (SSC) team is responsible for ensuring that the right spare parts are in the right place, at the right time in support of delivering global capacity requirements. Spares Supply Chain is undergoing a supply chain transformation to optimally manage the spares and warranty from a serviceability and cost point of view. We are looking for high-energy individuals who are passionate about using data to improve customer experiences and business performance. You would join the team as a Business Analyst focused on the Spares Analytics and Insights data platform that powers reporting for Spares Supply chain business

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to integration processes and configuration

• Experience in defining and executing on data product vision and strategy

• Develop BI solutions to deliver insights and metrics to stakeholders with rapidly evolving requirements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions

• Collect, interpret, analyze, and visualize data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance.

• Proficiency in SQL Query building, or other data databases management

• Proficiency in visualization tools Microsoft PowerBI, Excel

• Proactively identify opportunities for improving data quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of business processes

• Ability to deal with ambiguity, take high-level requirements, and work independently and within a team environment with consistent follow up, organization and prioritization skills, and excellent attention to detail

• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

• Work closely with analysts and engineering to deliver solutions aligned to established architecture rules

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or related field and 7+ years’ experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis

• OR master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or related field and 6+ years’ experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence.

• 8+ years’ experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience

• 3+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with supply chain analytics and modeling techniques

• Experience with big data technologies such as Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Hive, Spark, or Scope

• Experience in PowerPlatform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate)

• Experience developing and deploying ML models to solve real-world problems.

• Experience with Python or R and applying statistical techniques to extract insights.
