AT&T Specialist Software Engineering in Hyderabad, India

Job Description:

Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate deployment and configuration processes and activities

Design, develop, and execute configuration and deployment scripts

Identify, record, document thoroughly and track maintenance issues

Perform thorough reviews when development and configuration issues are resolved

Establish and maintain development, testing and production environments rollouts.

Manage complex application releases for development, QA and production environments.

Provide support on builds and aim to make the build and releases as automated as possible.

Interact with development, QA team, and production support team to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.

Have a passion for automation and agile methods. Collaboration with developers and architects to refine build, test, and release practices across the programs.

Support and improve the current Build & Deployment tooling for continuous integration, security compliance processes, automated testing, and release management.

Manage multiple concurrent releases/builds and deployments from development to production rollout.

Work with the US-based leadership to develop, operational, and security processes, for new and existing products, to meet client needs and maintain high security postures and operational metrics

Coordinate with stakeholders and identify system requirements

Monitor system performance and health

Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and implement solutions

Track and improve operational metrics: CPU, disk, req/s, peak loads, memory, EOL software, CVEs

Stay up to date with new configuration and deployment technologies

ducate the product development team on DevSec best practices like secure coding, secure data handling, secure networking, etc.

Qualifications:

Extensive engineering experience in development, security, and operations, with an emphasis on backend infrastructure, ideally a minimum of 5-7+ years.

Experience with Web Application Build, Deployment and Release Management

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Experience with deployment installation technologies (e.g., InstallShield, NSIS)

Experience with CI/CD frameworks / platforms / tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Actions etc.)

Experience with configuration management systems (e.g., svn, git, etc.)

Experience with Linux and with Linux-based test applications and utilities (e.g., curl, netcat, etc.)

Experience with secure network protocol, and web architectural styles (e.g., TLS, openssl, REST, etc.)

Experience in Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management

Experience in Performing regular Vulnerability Assessments/Penetration Tests for Web, Cloud, Network, and Mobile applications

Experience in cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)

Experience with security and vulnerability platforms (e.g., OpenVAS, Metaspolit, Nessus, etc.)

Experience with database technologies and scripting (e.g., relational, MongoDB, python, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus

Experience with pentesting platforms and frameworks (e.g., Kali, Blackbox, etc.) is a plus

Experience with automation frameworks and platforms (e.g., Selenium, Appium, etc.) is a plus
