Google Software Engineering Manager II, Enterprise Platforms in Hyderabad, India
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will drive a multi-year roadmap working closely with product managers and tech leads. You will manage a small team of software engineers, be responsible for career development and performance management, and maintain an open and inclusive team culture.

Lead the team's projects end-to-end (strategy, problem definition, delivery, feedback, and iteration).
Recruit and develop a diverse team.
Work beyond our team to shape our priorities, strategies, and team culture, and ultimately deliver an enhanced networking experience for our most performance-demanding internal and external customers.
Participate/lead in design/architecture discussions.
Collaborate with teams in Germany and US.
