The Nexus Platform organization is seeking a Senior TPM who will enable our customer’s success by providing context and understanding of customer requirements to the Nexus Platform teams supporting network fabric. In this role, you will be defining the future of the Nexus Platform by working as one team across the globe to execute on our Nexus Network Fabric vision

We are seeking a candidate with experience leading fast-paced engineering solutions, effective knowledge of telecommunications, networking, an Agile & customer focused mindset, demonstrated leadership skills, and a demonstrated ability to communicate broadly and clearly 

You will lead Nexus Network fabric feature delivery which will facilitate a consistent provisioning of the physical network infrastructure to support the Nexus Platform

Responsibilities

Our market opportunity is huge, and our team is expanding. To thrive in this position, you should be able to drive technical designs and refine a customer’s vision into actionable requirements and a delivery plan. You will need to enable your team to lead complex projects with a strong record of end to end delivery of high-quality products.  You will be working with the Nexus Platform team to help define key platform enablement functionalities in provisioning Nexus Network Fabric.

  • Help cloud operators and partners with planning, design, and implementation of the Nexus Platform

  • Develop credible execution plans in partnership with engineering teams that meet customer’s needs

  • Build a solution and architecture jointly with software engineering teams  

  • Create strategy and vision across multiple organizations, products and services including network operator executives 

  • Knowledge sharing internally and externally 

Additional responsibilities include -

  • Lead the implementation and execution of the feature roadmap through the definition of technical designs that integrate complex technical capabilities across multiple feature areas to satisfy customer needs

  • Define clear success criteria aligned with organization objectives and product roadmap that allows new product features as well as changes to existing product features to be validated ensuring the intended customer or business value is clearly communicated and achieved

  • Advocate for the customer through driving designs and programs to enhance the product to address customer needs and business priorities. Understands the value proposition of multiple features and proactively identify gaps and bring clarity to ambiguous designs to ensure customer value is achieved

  • Develop strong technical skills and communicate with customers to evangelize products, solicitfeedback, and support sales/pathfinders/pre-cert/partner, etc

  • Build relationships with organizations across Microsoft to fulfill dependencies in alignment with feature delivery plans

  • Partner with the engineering team to contribute, prioritize, and deliver on the roadmap for feature areas

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered

  • 3+ years of experience in managing customer requests through an Agile driven backlog and lead delivery across multiple organizations and time zones

  • Demonstrates an understanding of Networking concepts (IP, VLAN, BGP, Multicast, etc)

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills 

  • Proficient ability to solve problems across organizations and develop automated date drive solutions

  • Demonstrated commitment to caring, coaching and modeling customer focused behaviors for your team 

  • Quick learner who thrives in an ambiguous environment

Preferred Qualifications -

  • Previous experience working in a large-scale platform delivery team in an agile environment

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in technical project management, with a focus on delivering telecommunications and networking functionalities.

  • Solid understanding of cloud-based development and virtualized infrastructure 

  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders 

  • Demonstrated the ability to set best practices toward an agile way of work to enable Nexus network fabric feature delivery

  • The ability to work virtually and support teams across the globe through an inclusive approach to communication and understanding
