Oracle Senior Software Development Engineer in Test in HYDERABAD, India

Job Description

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test for the Oracle Local Government Global Industrial Unit (GIU) you will play a meaningful role in designing, testing and validating APEX Reports and development code. You will also write Test and Deployment Automation that will be used in Regression testing.

Skill sets: Automation testing, APEX, Selenium, etc.

6 years of experience working with the following:

• Testing and Automation experience with APEX Reports & tool.

• Used scripting language like JavaScript, PHP or Perl.

• Familiar with testing and debugging applications written in APEX.

• Used Test case management tools.

• Experienced with Continuous Integration tools like Bamboo or Jenkins

• Experienced in writing test plans based on requirements.

• Debugged complex technical problems in test and production.

• Able to write UI Automation tests using Selenium or Playwright.

• Worked in Agile frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• APEX Development tool and Reports testing knowledge.

• NetSuite Administration and Financials knowledge

• Understand Test-driven-development (TDD).

• Worked with Jira and Confluence.

• Experience with SSTF Framework

• SuiteCloud CLI Development

• Integration Testing

• Have used Test case management tools in Jira like Zephyr or X-Ray

• Knowledge of Jasmine or Jest Unit Testing Frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Build and Test solutions on top of the APEX Development platform.

  • Design and Build test automation that will integrate with Continuous Integration tools.

  • Contributed to Application release management.

  • Build and run Defect management.

  • Translate requirements into test cases.

  • Create detailed user and technical documentation for new and existing customization.

  • Support the solutions that you test in production.

  • Resolve development and troubleshoot solution issues and get final delivery done according to time constraints.

  • Support new team members.

  • Participate in Test and Code Reviews.

  • Focus on quality and application performance.

  • Follow the SCRUM framework & methodology.
