General Summary:
We are looking for a talented, motivated leader with experience in building Scalable Cloud Services, Infrastructure, and processes. As part of the IoT (Internet of Things) team you will be working on the next generation of IoT products. In this role, you will be leading test automation and infrastructure development, test new design, evaluate, and validate architectural choices which have a significant impact on our systems, our business and most importantly, our customers. You will be working directly with Developers, UX Designers, Product Managers, and Program Managers to ensure quality development and quality of our applications and platforms.
As a Software Development Engineer and Test (SDET) In This Role
The ideal candidate will have industry-leading technical abilities and excellent communication skills. This person should have a combination of in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance, solid understanding of the cloud systems and application software, and knowledge of object-oriented design principles. The test software you build should expose defects in hardware, services, and application code as well as defects at component and feature integration levels.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Knowledge of Cloud Services AWS and/or Azure is a must.
1+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience.
2+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
4+ years of experience as a developer, QA Engineer, OR as an SDET
4+ years of experience in Java or C development OR white box testing
4+ years of experience in C++, Python, Shell, OR Java
4+ Years of experience in API Automation Frameworks like Rest Assured OR Restsharp, Postman
4+ Experience in Ui Automation Frameworks like Selenium OR Playwright
2+ Experience in Security Testing tools like BurpSuite,OWASP ZAP OR Similar
4+ years of experience to programmatically test the product, measure test coverage, develop the best automation, drive testability and diagnostic ability into the product, while promoting best practices in quality areas
Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field Deep
Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment
Experience with security in service-oriented architectures and web services
Experience with open-source test tools API automation testing including working experience with unit test automation frameworks.
Ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple products and projects.
Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience building test frameworks for creating applications on various platforms.
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices.
Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
