Reporting to the US-based Manager of the Release Management team,and,India basedManager forlogistics, the Release Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing environment activities, including software deployments, installations, and implementations. This position involves collaboration with US-based global Professional Services teams and India-based technical and operations teams, acting as the primary coordinator for all environment-related tasks.

The role demands a deep understanding of ITIL/ITSM, Release & Change Management, strong project organization skills, excellent relationship management, and consultingexpertise. Additionally, the abilityto orchestrateandadvisecross-functional teamtasksis essential. The ideal candidate will have a proventrack recordin software deployments and installations, along with the technical skills necessary to support day-to-day activities.

TheRelease managerengages in high-level client-facing consultingwhichincludehosting and orchestrating environmentmanagement sessions with clients, aswellinternal operations teams.The release manager is overall expected to understand the SDLC processstarting from development to deploymentin live environmentswith due diligence.A lot relies on this rolebeing the front face of all environmentactivities andadvising operations teams as well PM teams.

* * Key Responsibilities: * *

  • Upgrades & Installs : Orchestrateand managedeploymentsfor plannedchanges such as Application Upgrades,3rdParty Application installs,Database Refreshes,etc.executed by the Operations team.

  • OS patching :Orchestrate & managepatching activitiesfor all our payor implementation clients

  • Tier1 activities :Provide coverage for Environment Managementduringoff-business hoursandrepresent changes in CAB.Create tickets for variousscenarios per the Change Management process.

  • Key Focus Areas for this role

  • Deployment Management – Orchestrateall types of softwaredeployments

  • Change Management –Enforce CM processesestablished, due diligence and organizational skills being the key factors

  • Environment Management – Ensure Environments are in a last known good state

  • Implementation Management –Orchestrateand leadenvironment tasks inPayor implementations

  • Risk Management:  Identifypotentialenvironmentrelatedrisks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successin deliveries.

  • Quality Assurance:  Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations.

  • Continuous Improvement:  Stay current with healthcare industry trends and bestRM\CMpractices, continuously seeking opportunities to improve ourdeployment managementprocesses. Lead initiatives to improve internal processes, tools, and methodologies.

About Global Professional Services:    

Our Global Professional Services team supports customer-funded service delivery initiatives separate from standard SaaS license support activities. Examples include customer implementations, business expansion, and optimization initiatives

What you will do:

  • Deployment Management

  • Lead & orchestrate any kind of changes being introduced in theenvironments

  • Coordinateday-to-dayactivities with the operations teams as well as PS project teams

  • Consume requirements & deploy related changes during IST hoursin coordination with India teams

  • Manage end to endlogisticsof change management

  • Ticket– Create/Assist

  • Schedulewith Operationsincluding attending CAB meetings, if applicable

  • Orchestrate the deployment

  • Manage Customer Communications on customer’s environments.

  • Customer Onboarding toHealthEdgedeployment processes

  • Onboard the customer

  • Release Management

  • Advise thecustomerinadopting the best releaseby going through theproduct release artifacts

  • Lead andManage end to endlogisticsforHealthRulesPayorupgrades,and3rdparty application upgrades

  • Environment Management

  • Ensure the environments are in a last known good state

  • Leverageappropriate teamstotroubleshoot and resolve environmental issues.

  • Troubleshootscenarios in production environmentshosted in Linux OS to ensure the environments are restored to the last known good state.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or similar discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Emotional Quotient Expected: Can do attitude along with self-awareness and motivation to constantly learn and improve.

  • Atleast 7 years of technical software implementation experience including configuring environments for application migration.

  • Solid understanding of Release & Change Management processes

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - self-starter who can dive into complex projects and take it forward with minimal supervision

  • Experience working with Linux server environments, enterprise collaboration applications, network technologies.

  • Strong focus on customer service

  • Experience working with Web Applications, Databases and Web Services (Any technology

  • An in depth understanding of ITIL/ITSM practices and solutions development from the drawing board to production delivery

  • Priorexperiencewith disaster recovery exercises betweendatacenters involving applications as well as database servers.

Nice-to-haves :

  • AWS certification

  • Six Sigma Certification

  • Design and develop solutionsusing Web, Database andScripting technologies (Any technology).

  • Experience with HealthCare Payor Implementation (replacement or new)for any line of business (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)
