Corteva Agriscience Regional Plant Performance Product Manager in Hyderabad, India

Description

Corteva is responsible for developing new active ingredients and formulated products that are competitive with current and future market conditions. We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Plant Performance Product Manager to join our APAC Biologicals business.

The Regional Plant Performance Product Manager will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of our biological plant performance products, from sourcing to market launch and beyond. This role requires a strong background in product management, plant nutrition, and deep understanding of, biological products, APAC market trends, and customer needs.

Responsibility:

  • Product Development: Collaborate with R&D teams to guide the development of new biological products, ensuring they meet market needs and regulatory requirements.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product strategy and positioning.

  • Product Launch: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, including pricing, promotion, and distribution plans.

  • Sales Support: Provide training and support to the sales team, including product information, competitive analysis, and sales tools.

  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key customers, develop and articulate value proposition of products/programs, gather feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize product success.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Biology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the agricultural or biologicals sector.

  • Strong understanding of biological products and their applications.

  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and precision agriculture technologies is a plus.
