A Day in the Life

As a R&D Engineer II of the MEIC, you will collaborate with the sustenance and Product Development teams globally. You will be involving on Concept development, Drawings , Prototype Building & document release and applying your knowledge on medical devices/products.

As a result, we need a R-D Engineer II who will ensure we deliver the best on-time with high quality for our products.

• R&D Engineer II should have the very good knowledge on product development and cross-functional aspects.

• Should be able to prepare 2D drawings per ASME Standards with sound knowledge on GD&T

• Should create 3D CAD Models using Creo/Solidworks either from scratch or able to edit the complex models

• Should be able to understand design problems and bring up optimal workable solution

• Medical device technology experience, ideally in interventional vascular devices would be advantageous.

• Individuals with experience in biomedical materials, processing knowledge and medical device design procedures.

• Individuals with a proven track record in innovative design, product development and manufacturing.

• Strong interpersonal and team management skills.

• The candidate must be able to communicate well with cross-functional team members, be able to efficiently collaborate with team members to achieve project goals, and contribute positively to the engineering community.

• Ability to support the Product Development Team with application of design engineering to new product design.

• Should be able to use windchill PDM link to manage CAD Data flawlessly

Must-Have :

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3 to 6 years of relavent experience.

• Hands on CAD systems such as Creo & Solidworks– expert level (Drafting & Modelling) as well as data management systems such as Windchill ,

• Very good verbal communications to interact with global partners .

• Knowledge in Concept Development, Prototyping and Benchmark Testing

• Well verse with GD&T and good knowledge in tolerance stacks.

Nice to Have :

• Medical Device Experience

• Master Degree

• GD&T Certification

• Cetol

• ANSYS or any equivalent Prediction Software
