Oracle Principal Product Manager in HYDERABAD, India

Job Description

The SQM product team in the Cloud Procurement development organization is looking for a Principal Product Manager to help advance our solution. Your mission will be to translate customer, market and competitive insights into innovative product features using an industry leading AI platform and user experience design system. The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic, motivated self-starter and team-oriented individual. As part of the Cloud Procurement development organization, you will help to grow our procurement solutions leveraging Oracle’s latest enterprise application technology.

Oracle Cloud Procurement is an integrated suite of applications delivering industry leading solutions that streamline the procurement process with end-to-end business automation, enabling companies of all sizes to achieve significant savings with their supply management costs.Oracle Cloud Supplier Qualification Management (SQM), an integral part of the Oracle Cloud Procurement suite, provides a streamlined approach to evaluate and qualify suppliers according to predefined criteria that supports a company’s procurement function.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new feature development projects following an agile and continuous-delivery methodology.

  • Work as part of the development team to deliver product increments in every sprint.

  • Analyze customer requirements to define new product capabilities and develop feature designs.

  • Write and review user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure the product meets requirements and quality standards.

  • Work with QA to review and execute test plans.

  • Deliver product collateral and review product documentation.

  • Communicate product strategy and functionality.

  • Contribute to ensure successful product releases based on organizational and corporate priorities.

  • Work with customers, consultants, and partners to get new feature requirements and provide implementation guidance.

  • Coordinate with marketing, sales, and support during feature roll-out and ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management or relevant experience.

  • Degree/Major: MS/BS in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering. MBA a plus.

  • Good functional knowledge of supply chain, financial, procurement applications.

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to lead and work well with a wide range of people.

  • Knowledge of software development processes.

  • Knowledge of UI components, design patterns and best practices.

  • Experience designing features with AI/ML.

  • Experience using REST APIs.

  • Experience working on enterprise software application projects.

  • Experience with Oracle Applications a plus.
