Primary Responsibilities:
Working with Software Engineering teams; evaluate system specifications, provision and support delivery of application infrastructure
Define and drive AWS Architecture decisions to ensure the stability, reliability and availability of applications and services
Create and maintain IAC using Terraform & Configuration Management using Ansible / Chef
Create and configure CI pipeline supporting Continuous Delivery
Implement and document agreed upon standards to support auto-scaling infrastructure
Administer Windows and Linux Servers including configuration, patching and ensure overall server health
Practical experience with EKS, Envoy, API gateway, Service Mesh
Analyse all aspects of existing application infrastructure and recommend modifications that will enhance application reliability, availability and scalability
Engage in capacity planning and demand forecasting; software performance analysis and system tuning
Performance analysis using APM and other monitoring tools to identify system performance issues and bottlenecks
Work with log aggregation tools like Splunk
Programming with Python or Java
Other responsibilities as determined necessary

Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of Hands-on experience with AWS/Public Cloud ecosystem, infrastructure automation and monitoring tools
Experience in migrating and transforming existing systems to the cloud using AWS tools and best practices
Expertise in identifying and mitigating infrastructure security vulnerabilities
Expertise in managing cost optimized infrastructure setups
Expertise in setting monitors, triggers, alerts and managing the infra setup on highest availability and reliability standards
Expertise in AWS Compute Services like EC2, ELB, Auto scaling, Lambda Function
Solid skills in AWS networking, such as configuring VPC’s, firewalls, load balancers, Transit Gateways, and VPNs
Solid understanding cloud and Infrastructure components (Server, Storage, Memory, Network) to deliver end-to-end Cloud Infra and design
Knowledge of Terraform for cross-platform cloud provisioning
Proficiency in DevOps Tools and technical know how to use them for continuous integration, continuous delivery, pipelines, and Git version control
Specialization in Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) for container orchestration
