Primary Responsibilities:
Review and provide feedback on code, design documents, and technical specifications
Collaborate with product managers to align on project goals and timelines
Attend strategic planning meetings with senior leadership to discuss long-term technology roadmaps and resource allocation
Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance on career development and technical skills
Conduct one-on-one meetings with direct reports to discuss performance and professional growth
Oversee the implementation of new features and ensure they meet quality standards and deadlines
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., QA, DevOps, UX/UI) to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team
Review project metrics and KPIs to assess the health and progress of ongoing projects
Prepare and present technical reports and updates to stakeholders
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
10+ years of experience in Java, Python, React and Spark
5+ years in cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)
Proven track record of managing and delivering complex software projects on time and within budget
Proven excellent understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
Proven exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions
Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and cross-geo teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience in talent acquisition and management, including hiring, onboarding, and retaining top engineering talent
Experience in a specific industry (e.g., fintech, healthcare, e-commerce) relevant to the company’s domain
Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and stay ahead of industry trends
