Wells Fargo CCIBT Platform - Trade Finance - Production Support Engineer (Systems Operations Engineer) in Hyderabad, India

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in complex technical issues and initiatives related to large scale applications, systems, databases, or other technical products and services

  • Identify opportunity for process improvements within technical support strategies and plans

  • Review and analyze technical queries to extract data, create standard databases, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supporting low to medium risk technical deliverables

  • Present recommendations for resolving complex technical queries

  • Exercise some independent judgment to analyze performance trends and recommend process improvements while developing understanding of technical process controls or standards

  • Work as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and processes

  • Provide information related to supported system area to functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders, including internal customers

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Systems Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Attain excellent application knowledge

  • Work on User Tickets, perform Application Health Checks, status reporting, work on User Requests, Improvement/Automation and other BAU responsibilities.

  • Collaborate and follow up with Development teams and other Technology Partner teams to restore application from an outage (Incident Management) and perform Root Cause Analysis (Problem Management).

  • Building SME knowledge from both domain and technology will be essential to be successful with platform goals.

  • Ensuring BCP Readiness, Backup / Recovery implementation.

  • Responsible for Change, Problem & Release Management

  • University degree (B.E. / B.Tech / MCA) in Technology.

  • Minimum years of platform support experience

  • Understanding on ITIL process

  • Prior experience in Application failover and BCP planning

  • Self-starter with good verbal and communication skills

  • Hands on experience in Unix, Java, Oracle/SQL

  • Exposure to App Dynamics, Grafana, Splunk, BMC Remedy, ITRS Geneos, Autosys, JIRA

  • Prior experience of SRE framework , toil reduction, Building SLO’s and SLA’s

  • Exposure to Platform and Agile Framework

  • Strong communication
