What you will do:
Understand business requirements, Design, develop, and enhance applications using .Net and Azure.
Write high performing, reusable code, unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure that our code meets best practices and industry standards.
Work closely with other engineers, product managers, quality analysts to build new features and enhancements into Park Place products and services.
Contribute to all phases of SDLC ensuring that our products are delivered with high quality within planned release cycles.
Work with QA to create and review test plans, help in executing functional, integration and system tests and ensure acceptance criteria is met.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix software bugs identified before and after release, either internally or by customers in the field.
Create necessary documentation relating to work produced.
Collaborate, share, and learn from team members, and actively follow all team processes.
What we’re looking for:
Development experience with C# .NET, MVC/Razor Pages, Web APIs
Familiarity with relational databases like SQL Server/Azure SQL/MySQL
Basic knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Azure Cosmos DB.
Proficiency in web development technologies like HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (Angular/React or Vue.js).
Understanding of Git concepts such as branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Team player with a “can-do” attitude and a growth mindset towards learning new skills.
Bonus Points:
Prior internships and personal projects demonstrating technical skills.
Active LeetCode or HackerRank profile showcasing problem solving skills.
Relevant certifications such as Azure Fundamentals/Developer/Administrator etc.
Contributions to projects on GitHub, developer communities like Stack Overflow, Microsoft Q&A, published blog posts etc.
Prior development experience with Java/Python languages
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree is preferred.
