Google Application Engineering Manager in Hyderabad, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience with programming in Java/Python/Go, Web Services (e.g., RESTful, SOAP), and CI/CD build tools.

  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects.

  • 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

  • Experience in designing distributed systems with scalable and microservice-based architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in SAP ERP implementation, including managing a team of engineers.

  • Experience implementing SAP (e.g., S4/HANA) at enterprise scale.

  • Experience managing teams, building and implementing third-party applications, specially SAP.

  • Experience writing SAP code, Advanced ABAP object-oriented programming, OData, Restful ABAP, Fiori, SAPUI5, CDS, Dialog Programming, Enhancements (e.g., User Exits, BADI, BAPI) and Interfaces (e.g., IDOCS, Remote Function Calls, Web Services).

  • Design and implement the SAP ecosystem that meets the company's business requirements. Ensure the SAP landscape is aligned with business strategy.

  • Anticipate/prevent technical and organizational obstacles. Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate those needs into SAP solutions.

  • Own and drive large and complex efforts of SAP Ecosystem production that has a significant impact at the product area level objectives.
