About the role
Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Test Services Manager to lead our testing services team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our testing processes, managing stakeholder relationships, and integrating business processes with testing services.
Reporting directly to the Head of Test Management and Release Management, you will have the unique opportunity to shape our testing services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test management, automated testing tools, and continuous improvement practices.
Key responsibilities include
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand and address their testing needs.
Lead the internal Team of Expert Quality Engineers ensuring the test platforms enablement for Global Project Teams
Establish governance frameworks to ensure testing processes align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Coordinate and prioritize testing service requests from various departments and manage demand.
Steer externals and managed service providers ensuring timely delivery of testing services.
Oversee and coordinate activities involved in providing testing services, including organizing and scheduling testing activities to ensure they are completed on time and within budget, ensuring the necessary resources (personnel, equipment, software, etc.) are available and properly allocated to different testing tasks
Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure that testing is performed to the highest standards
Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, results, and any issues encountered, including generating reports for stakeholders
Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Communicate with stakeholders (e.g., developers, project managers, clients) to provide updates, gather requirements, and address any concerns related to testing, and identify potential risks in the testing process and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Manage automated regression testing by leveraging automated tools to re-run previously executed test cases to ensure existing functionalities still work as expected after changes, e.g. enhancements, patches, and configuration changes, have been made
About you
Graduate degree in IT/technology, computer science or a comparable field
Proficiency in English
ISTQB advanced test manager is equivalent is a plus
Microsoft Azure certification is a plus
Tricentis tool suite certification is a plus
Minimum 5 years of experience in test management or applicable areas
Minimum 3 years of SAP experience is preferred
Experience with ITIL processes & systems (incident & change management)
Analytical mind, structure and attention to detail make you an ideal candidate
