Responsibilities
Perform precise dimensional measurements on products using tools such as calipers,micrometers,tape measures,and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
Maintain and organize material certifications and welder qualification records to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Accurately create,manage,and update quality documentation,including detailed inspection reports.
Validate measurements against technical drawings,engineering blueprints,and customer specifications to ensure adherence to requirements.
Enter and manage data in ERP systems,ensuring all associated documentation is complete,accurate,and properly attached.
Conduct final inspections to verify compliance with production drawings and specifications before products are shipped.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure all parts are thoroughly inspected and meet dimensional and quality standards.
Verify and document First Article Inspection (FAI) procedures,maintaining accurate and accessible records.
Inspect incoming materials to confirm quality,specification compliance,and readiness for production use.
Partner with Project Engineers to resolve discrepancies,address quality concerns,and align on customer expectations.
Approve products for shipment in coordination with the Shipping,Receiving,and Scheduling teams,ensuring timely delivery of quality products.
Identify,document,and report issues such as quality deficiencies,dimensional inconsistencies,damages,or shortages,contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision,demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing blueprints,technical drawings,and engineering specifications.
Expertise in using precision measurement tools,including tape measures,calipers,micrometers,and more.
Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems,combined with advanced proficiency in Microsoft E xcel for data management and analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills,ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions.
Ability to effectively manage tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining focus on long-term project goals.
Professional demeanor with a collaborative mindset,fostering seamless teamwork across multiple departments.
Pay
$18.00 to $22.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Day Shift | 7:00 AM 4:00 PM | Monday Friday
