Technical Solutions Consultant
Job Description:
We are searching for an energetic, customer focused Technical Solutions Consultant to work as part of our Global Systems Integration Group (SIG) at Sage Intacct. As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales of bespoke software and technology projects by leveraging your technical expertise and sales acumen. You will work closely with potential and existing clients to understand their needs, design tailored solutions, and demonstrate the value of our offerings through persuasive presentations and proof of concept (POC) demonstrations. To thrive in this role, you will be a dynamic individual who flourishes in a fast-paced environment, possesses a blend of technical prowess and sales skills, and is committed to driving revenue growth through strategic solution selling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and challenges.
• Design and present technical solutions to all levels including lines of business managers, IT managers, developers and “C” level executives.
• Articulate solution architecture that may include, use of Sage Intacct Web Services APIs, Sage Intacct Platform Product and Sage Intacct Integrations with third party applications.
• Build out and demonstrate Workflows and POCs based on a limited set of requirements to showcase the potential of our solutions to prospective customers. Ensure these demos effectively communicate the value and capabilities of our offerings.
• Actively manage and nurture the sales pipeline, collaborating with team members across the sales cycle to advance deals towards closure. Employ a structured approach to track progress and identify necessary actions to move opportunities forward.
• Contribute to writing technical sections of Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with customer expectations and company capabilities.
• Accurately estimate the work effort required to develop and implement technical solutions, facilitating effective planning and resource allocation.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years’ experience as a solutions consultant
• Prior technical sales preferred
• Financial technology solutions experience, ideally Accounting/ERP solutions.
• Deep knowledge of integration techniques between systems using web services
• Excellent understanding of software development and associated processes and a passion for software and technology
• Strong experience managing sales pipelines and working collaboratively within sales teams to close deals
