Senior Transformation Manager

Job Description:

As the Senior Transformation Manager, you will lead and oversee key strategic initiatives within Sage's Transformation projects. You will be involved in planning, designing, and monitoring complex, high-priority projects across the organization. You will work closely with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and external partners, and will help define the vision, scope, objectives, and benefits of these projects. As a subject matter expert, you'll ensure project teams deliver at the highest standard, advising on the best approaches to maintain momentum. Additionally, you will act as a strategic partner, resolving issues, consulting on changes, and driving transformation efforts swiftly.

If successful, you will be expected to work in a hybrid capacity, 3 days in an office.

Key Responsibilities:

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

As the Senior Transformation Manager you'll maintain a Sage-first, outcome-focused mindset, strategically analyzing and designing initiatives across functions. You will contribute to the transformation business case and plan, leveraging commercial and strategic insights to flag risks, set direction, and drive execution. With expertise in project management, change management, and agile delivery, you will design, implement, and assess work programs from inception to outcome delivery. You'll plan and track phases across the transformation value chain, define resources and budgets, and collaborate with business leaders to identify and address issues quickly. As an experienced Sage designer, you will recommend improvements to enhance the Operating Model, simplify complexity, and accelerate transformation. Additionally, you will monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, guide project teams, and regularly update leadership, owning specific deliverables within the team.

What You Bring to the Table:

You should possesses expert knowledge in project management, change management, and business analysis, with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You are a clear and concise communicator, able to distill complex topics into focused actions and outcomes. With strong organizational skills, independent thinking, and a proactive approach, you will navigate ambiguity effectively. Possessing a deep understanding of Sage, our operations, future vision, and strategy will fuel your passion for driving transformation. Experienced in working with senior leaders, you should excel in stakeholder management and lead multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix and virtual environment. As a strong coach and mentor, you will inspire and influence others, consistently delivering successful business outcomes through transformation initiatives.

The Skills You’ll Need:

• Qualified in Agile Delivery (e.g. SAFe, Scrum, Agile PM)

• Qualified in structured project management (e,g, Prince, MSP, PMI)

• Qualified in Change management (E.g. ADKAR)

• 5+ years of applicable experience in an Agile environment
