As our Manager of Corporate Development, you will support the EVP Corporate Development and broader Corporate Development team in the identification, evaluation and execution of selected strategic activities including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and minority interest investments across the world, including commercial review and appropriate business analysis.

This will be a hybrid position based out of our new office near the Beltline at Ponce City Market here in Atlanta.

Key Responsibilities:

What You Will Do:

You will play a key role supporting the coordination, due diligence, and contract negotiation of local and global M&A projects, collaborating with business leaders, cross-functional teams, and external advisors. Your role involves conducting industry research to identify acquisition and investment opportunities, executing global M&A transactions, and aligning these efforts with Sage's strategic goals. Additionally, you will prepare detailed financial and valuation analyses, to evaluate potential transactions and other strategic initiatives. Working with Corporate Development leadership to manage and track project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables will be a key responsibility.

What We Need from You:

• 3-6 years of work experience in investment banking, corporate development, financial consulting, or private equity.

• Significant financial modelling expertise including the ability to clearly present drivers and key outputs.

• Attention to detail coupled with strong organization, problem solving and planning skills including the ability to balance both the short- and long-term.

• Strong communication and people skills, personable and able to operate at the highest levels internally and externally with a high degree of credibility.

• Able to work effectively with a wide range of people and cultural sensitivity.

• Creativity to develop pragmatic solutions in complex areas.

• Enthusiasm, energy, resilience, drive and commitment.

Preferred:

• Strong M&A track record in both mid-market and technology/software deals.

• Experience in merger, acquisition, divestiture and/or strategic investment divestiture integration/separation activities.

• Understanding of the key business drivers relevant to a SaaS business.
