Analyst, Reporting and Data Enablement

Vail Resorts is looking for an Analyst of Reporting and Data Enablement to join the Marketing Analytics team!

The Reporting and Data Enablement team acts as subject matter experts and stewards of data across the business. The team is at the center of driving and enabling our data-driven strategic initiatives and collaborates closely with our lines of business and go-to-market teams.

As an Analyst of Reporting and Data Enablement, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to strategic initiatives that rely on our central data assets. You will act as a catalyst across our business, analytics, and IT teams to ensure that the right data is available and fit for purpose to drive accurate reporting and strategic insights across the enterprise. This role will have involvement with multiple Lines of Business teams, primarily the Food & Beverage team, helping to build and maintain the reporting infrastructure to enable Business Insights.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to development and design of data and reporting assets that power decision-making across multiple lines of business, primarily for Food & Beverage team.

  • Play a key role in cross-functional collaboration for technology and data initiatives

  • Bring ambition, a problem-solving attitude

  • Contribute to data governance best practices and documentation

  • Interest in learning new tools, adapt and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in analytics or similar field

  • Detail oriented self-starter with a proven ability to deliver cross-functional solutions

  • Great communication and driving projects to completion

  • Experience working with SQL across a variety of platforms (SQL Server, Snowflake, Databricks)

  • Experience working with data visualization systems (Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, etc.)

  • Experience working in Python and Git

  • Experience working with Excel and Power Point

  • Familiarity with developing and deploying data pipelines (Git, CI/CD)

  • Familiarity with the Atlassian product suite: Jira, Confluence

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $82,000 - $130,000. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment where employees living within 50 miles of the Broomfield office work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays. Employees living outside of a commutable distance can work remotely from British Columbia, Washington D.C., and the 16 U.S. states* in which we currently operate. This includes: California, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah, Vermont, Washington State, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
