Position Summary
As a n IT Project Manager in our Identification (ID) Program Management group , you will be responsible for ensuring the on-time, on-budget delivery of in scope ID system ( e.g. border management, passport issuing, etc.) solutions for our government customers around the world.

What You Will Do
Project Initiation
Defining Scope: W ork with stakeholders to define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Resource Allocation: D etermine the resources (time, money, personnel) needed for the project and allocate them accordingly.
Timeline Creation: D evelop a detailed project timeline, including milestones and deadlines.
O riginal B udget Creation : Set-up the original budget fo r the project for each labo u r and expense category .
Budget Management
Cost Forecasting : Forecast the costs for each labour and expense category as the project unfolds .
Budget Tracking: M onitor the project’s financial performance, ensuring that spending stays within the approved budget.
Financial Reporting: P repare financial reports to keep stakeholders informed about the project’s budget status.
Schedule Management
Baseline Schedule Creation : Create the Baseline schedule for the project aligned with the initial budget
Schedule Tracking: Maintain and update the schedule by updating the actual and planned start and end dates of each activity, with a focus to ensure timely delivery
Milestone reporting: Report schedule progress, based on milestones relative to the baseline .
Stakeholder Communication
Regular Updates: P rovide regular updates to stakeholders through meetings, emails, and reports.
Feedback Incorporation: G ather feedback from stakeholders and incorporate it into the project plan as needed.
Conflict Resolution: A ddress any conflicts or issues that arise among stakeholders to keep the project on track.
Risk Management
Risk Identification: I dentify potential risks that could impact the project’s success.
Risk Mitigation: D evelop strategies to mitigate identified risks, such as contingency plans.
Risk Monitoring: C ontinuously monitor risks throughout the project and adjust plans as necessary.
Team Coordination
Task Delegation: A ssign tasks to team members based on their skills and expertise.
Performance Monitoring: M onitor the performance of team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
Team Support: P rovide support and guidance to team members, helping to resolve any issues that arise.
Progress Reporting
Data Collection: C ollect data on project performance, such as task completion rates and quality metrics.
Analysis: A nalyze t he data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Reporting: P repare detailed reports on project progress and present them to stakeholders.
Various other duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in information technology (or similar) or an equivalent combination of education and years of relevant work experience
Relevant certifications will be considered assets (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Certified Scrum Master, ITIL, etc.)
Comprehensive knowledge of IT systems (architecture, infrastructure, technologies, methodologies, etc.)
7 + years of experience managing complex IT projects
Proficiency with MS O365, MS Project

Mandatory Requirements
Fluency in English (fluency in French/Spanish is an asset)

Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) personal security clearance.
