Community Action Committee of CC&Islands Tax Preparer F/T & P/T in Hyannis, Massachusetts
Community Action Committee of Cape Cod & Islands (CACCI) is looking for one full-time and one part-time person to assist low-income people to file their federal & state tax forms. The qualified person will be part of the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) team who are certified annually by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). These are temporary positions for the time period February 2024 - April 2024. Required: Familiar with preparation of federal and state tax forms and ability to meet the IRS certification and program requirements. Computer proficiency. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with people of various backgrounds. Preferred: Associate Degree Bilingual English/Spanish, English/Portuguese skills Full-time 35 hours and Part-time 20 hours a week.
