Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Project Accounting Manager based at our Americas Headquarters located in Greenville, NC .
What you will do:
Manage the accounting, reporting, and financial functions for complex customer projects.
Supervise a team of Project Accountants, ensuring timely and accurate recording of project transactions and documentation.
Oversee the daily finance processes for Robotics & Automation including onboarding, tracking, collection of receivables, supplier payments, aged inventory reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting policies.
Provide pro-forma and final financial reporting and analyticsconcerning project margins, profitability, working capital, andidentifying key drivers for any variances.
Collaborate with the Commercial and Legal teams to clarify customer contracts and acceptance criteria.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline project accounting processes and enhance control over transactions.

What you will need:
Four-year college degree with major in Accounting or Finance. CPA, CMA, MSA or MBA preferred.
Minimum 5 years' relevant accounting and/or finance experience. Experience in Project Accounting/Over-time revenue recognition preferred.
Skills, Experience & Abilities
5-7 years of experience in general ledger and/or commercial/project accounting.
Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, standard accounting & finance practices, and tax compliance.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and guide a team effectively, in addition to advising or participating with commercial, commissioning, and legal teams to ensure best practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with department leaders and internal stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 with strong Excel background; SAP experience preferred.
Project management experience in developing processes and procedures in evolving business environments.
