Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with our business at www.goebelfc.com Summary: The Quality Technician role is responsible for maintaining quality and continuous improvement systems and processes. They will work closely with the Shop Team to identify improvement activities, provide inspection, analysis, and corrective action, perform product first article qualification and other projects as assigned. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with development and/or maintenance of a Quality Management System (thoughts on this?) Document, and assist with, the evaluation of manufacturing and quality issues Promote continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to create and sustain positive participation in continuous improvement activities Provide inspection services supporting the Shop Floor including product quality, processes, and UL requirements for product labeling Manage first article qualifications and inspections, and document the results Assist in root cause analysis and recommend changes for improvement Control and maintain inspection equipment Generate and maintain quality department documentation Collaborate with Production, Engineering, CNC Operators, and other internal teams to meet established standards Participate in plant-wide safety effort; wear all proper protective equipment as required in the work area in accordance with the Safety Policy.
