We have an exciting leadership opportunity at The Arc Mid-Hudson for a Residential Program Manager, supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, at our Alison residence just outside of Kingston, in Hurley.

Alison residence is a single-level ranch-style home located in the Town of Hurley, tucked away in a quiet and wooded neighborhood with beautiful landscaping, perfect for summer BBQ’s and picnics. Minutes away from Uptown Kingston, there are numerous shops and restaurants to frequent. Seven people reside at Alison House and have been living in their home together for over twenty years. They enjoy attending music concerts, sporting events and weekend getaways throughout the year. Responsibilities for this seasoned manager include supervising staff and assuring that plans of care are followed for the individuals we support. This motivated leader will possess an Associates degree in Human Services or a related field, a Bachelors degree is highly desired; and will have strong organizational skills and leadership experience.

Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities is highly preferred. An acceptable NYS driver's license is required.

The Arc Mid-Hudson offers an extensive and informative new hire orientation in a comfortable learning environment. We also provide additional development opportunities for our management staff.

HOURS: 40/Sunday through Thursday - 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, must be flexible based on needs of program

STARTING SALARY: $ 58,500 per year

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services or related field highly preferred

  • Supervisory experience

  • Computer skills

  • Acceptable NYS Driver's license
