Title:

Systems Performance Analyst

KBR is seeking a highly qualified Systems Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will have the ability to perform software development and Models & Simulations to assess the capabilities of DoD air and ground systems. Analysis and Modeling & Simulation actives will support the testing and fielding of major military air defense systems from design and fielding through implementation and develop system enhancements. The candidate will utilize high fidelity system level models and simulations while conducting systems performance studies and provide stakeholders with assessments of system capabilities against a variety of world-wide threats. In addition, the candidate will develop and utilize software tools to analyze simulation output data in the assessment of system abilities to meet design and operational requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze air defense systems and sub-systems, performance metrics, timelines, and models

  • Plan, develop, administer and implement software tools for visualizing and analyzing high-fidelity system simulation data

  • Identify and document issues impacting both in-flight and ground systems through objective analysis and processes

  • Support analyses of system technical performance studies and presentation of findings to the customer

  • Provide support to verification and validation of algorithms including tuning, testing, and integration planning

  • Support signal processing and kinematic analysis, including radar, system communications, missile guidance, intercept dynamics/lethality, threats assessments/impacts, and trades studies

  • Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Participate in system design reviews, working groups and technical interchange meetings

  • Interface with customers, directorate/office representatives, and across system engineering groups to drive resolution plans and strategies for complex technical challenges

  • Generate and maintain technical documentation and reports

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s STEM degree, or related field

  • 5 years of experience in modeling and simulation, data analysis, algorithm development, or verification and validations of systems

  • Ability to collaborate across stakeholder organizations

  • Strong communication skills to interface with customers, directorate/office representatives, and across system engineering groups

  • Ability to generate and maintain technical documentation and reports
