We have an immediate opening for a

Systems Engineerwho will support the Joint C-UAS Office in Huntsville, AL. The salary for this position will depend on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of OV-1 diagrams, conceptual models, and interfaces for integrating Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) across service branches to support interoperability and integrated fire control
• Develop and define mission threads and use cases for Sensor-to-C2 and C2-to-C2 integration, supporting the creation of a future reference architecture for C-UAS systems.
• Lead demonstration and experimentation planning including defining objectives, identifying resources, establishing timelines, and setting evaluation metrics.
• Coordinate efforts across programs within the Joint C-UAS Office, as well as multiple government and industry partners, to ensure integration and alignment of C-UAS systems across service branches.
• Provide periodic program reviews and technical presentations to high-ranking Government stakeholders, including briefing stakeholders on progress, challenges, and results from demonstrations and experiments.
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers, focusing on expanding capabilities within the Joint C-UAS Office.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute complex system of systems integration efforts from initial concept definition through integration and test, incorporating complex threat scenarios.
• Experience with complex system of systems programs/projects across their lifecycle, from concept definition through fielding and sustainment.
• Experience with and in-depth knowledge of DoD operations, concepts, and technologies, particularly in areas related to air and missile defense and integrated fire control.
• Good problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience providing technical presentations to senior government stakeholders.
• Must hold a Secret Security Clearance.
• Educational Background: BS in Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of technical and project management experience.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Additional Desired Experience

• Experience with MBSE tools and practices, particularly in developing system architecture models and managing integration with a focus on interoperability.
