Job Description/Essential Functions:

Bevilacqua Research Corporation (BRC) is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Small Business based in Huntsville, Alabama incorporated in 1992. BRC provides “best-value” technical and management solutions to a diverse government and commercial customer base in the following key business areas: test & evaluation, systems analysis & integration, security & intelligence, and R&D.

Responsibilities:

This position provides leadership in thermal design, analysis, and test support of various NASA Space System projects such as:

  • Human Landing System (HLS) to deliver American astronauts – the first woman and next man -on the Moon’s south pole

  • The International Space Station (ISS) environmental variables controls

  • Ground Support and Test Equipment

  • Spacecraft and space instrument development

Minimum Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering or related field is required. Degree from an ABET accredited university preferred. Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a Ph.D., with a minimum 14 years of experience, Masters with at least 18 years of experience, or BS with at least 20 years of experience.

The Successful candidate shall have:

  • Experience with Active Thermal Systems

  • Proficiency with thermal test set up support, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Experienced in thermal desktop

  • Experienced in NX Team Center

  • Experienced in thermal Testing

  • Knowledge of orbital thermal environment development

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with NASA standards and MSFC Specifications
