Kratos Defense is currently pursuing the Missile Defense Agency Information Management and Software Services (AIMSS) competitive effort, formerly known as the Missile Defense Data Center (MDDC) Program. The team's mission is to design and implement a Missile Defense System with multiple layers of protection. If you are an incumbent employee currently working on the MDDC contract and are interested in continuing in your position under the new contract as part of the Kratos AIMSS team, we will prioritize registered incumbents and align those employees to the new contract positions, allowing us to make competitive and timely offers early. We collaborate with non-registered incumbents and classify remaining positions as open or vacant accordingly. All information provided is kept strictly confidential.
Responsible for the design, development, testing, verifying, sustaining and fully documenting developed software. Develops complex software applications involving graphical front-end interfaces, visualization toolsets, SQL Database interfaces, multi-user GUI interfaces, and rule base assessments. Works with application Product Owner to decompose Use Case entities into implemental software requirements. Performs software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software reviews, software risk analysis, and software reliability analysis. Performs analysis on new software developments and revisions to existing systems to enhance system efficiencies. Responsible for software testing and user/system requirements verification/validation processes and procedures. Troubleshoots production problems related to deployment of software applications. Evaluates implemented requirements in software to determine if these requirements were met in deliverable software. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application integration and testing tools. Participates in development of software user manuals and technical reports. Works with project leads, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements. Understands MDA test processes related to data management, scheduling, planning and commitments across all types of tests.

Required Experience:
Typically, a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field
Minimum one year of applicable experience
Active DoD Secret Clearance preferred
Must be a US Citizen
