ASRC Federal Holding Company Senior Test Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama

We are seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Missile Defense Agency Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) anti-ballistic missile system project in Huntsville, AL. The Senior Software Test Engineer will interpret requirements and test guidance to complete configuration item and product-level integration testing. Create and document test plans/procedures/reports and analyze results.
GMD is the United States' anti-ballistic missile system for intercepting incoming warheads in space, during the midcourse phase of ballistic trajectory flight. It is a major component of the American missile defense strategy to counter ballistic missiles in defense of the homeland.

Requirements :
Bachelor's degree or higher degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field), Computer Science preferred.
Applicants must have an active U.S. Government security clearance at the DoD Secret level.
5+ years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related experience.
Ability to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete configuration item and product-level integration testing
Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking and problem solving skills and Systems Thinking mindset
Experience with Test Driven Development and Automated Test
Experience developing testing criteria to successfully satisfy requirements
Excellent decision making and communication (written and verbal) skills
Experience with Agile Scrum Test Lifecycle
Experience creating and documenting test plans/procedures, analyzing results and creating reports
Ability to work in a collaborative, Agile IPT environment
Ability and willingness to travel 10% to support business needs
The following is considered a plus:
Testing SW for performance and functionality based on requirement specification and ability to identify and document exact sequence of activities desired.
Experience in systems engineering, requirements, verification development and product development processes and application to complex weapon or space systems.

Missile Defense Experience
Experience with UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems
Experience in IBM Rational DOORS system software
Experience in Atlassian Jira software
Experience in Integrated Digital Engineering Environments
Experience in Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery Software Development
Experience with continuous integration and delivery in accordance with DevSecOps processes and best practices
Containerization and Software Implemented Servers Experience
High proficiency with tools required for communication system and network modeling and simulation
Communication Link or Signal Processing System Experience
Exposure to all parts of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle
Experience writing automated tests
Test lead role experience
A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.
