COLSA Corporation Senior CM Analyst in Huntsville, Alabama
Performs somewhat complex to complex configuration and data management assignments, requiring use of applied concepts, principles, theories, practices, and techniques.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
Reviews, analyzes, and updates change request packages and/or documentation for technical content, completeness, proper authorizations, and adherence to specific requirements, policies and theories
Supports the establishment of baselines on hardware and software systems
Assists in the authorization release of drawings, changes, and documentation
Records, tracks, and maintains status of documents and action items using JIRA CM tool
Develop and generate reports as needed
Develop and support team building efforts
Analyzes current CM processes and procedures and updates Standard Operating Procedures
May develop and prepare specific requirements, standards, plans, and procedures
May provide technical advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements
May participate in special studies and projects
May provide leadership to lower level employees

Required SkillsRequired Experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher
Minimum of 8-10 years related experience
Prior experience assessing projects, processes, or system changes against established baselines
Expertise in development of training & strategies to address gaps & ensure continuous improvement
Experience developing training & documentation for adoption of new processes or system
Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software packages
US Citizenship required; Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance. Minimum of an interim clearance required to start employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with Army Command structure
Ability to develop informal cross training strategies for the team
