PRIMARY FUNCTION StraitSys is looking for a Full Stack C# Software Developer to support internal software development and process automation activities , in Huntsville, AL.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Independently or as a team design, develop, and test new products or features for existing products to meet client requirements within an Agile/Scrum framework. Modify software to fix bugs, adapt to new environments, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces. Develop new ways to improve existing applications and ensure efficient and effective processes are utilized to develop new applications. Communicate with team members regarding project status and potential issues or roadblocks with development throughout the development process. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new programming languages, tools, and technologies related to development responsibilities. Support/mentor junior developers throughout the development process.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
Advanced knowledge and experience with web development using the .NET framework.
Advanced experience with JavaScript and libraries like jQuery.
Knowledge of Telerik/Kendo UI web controls.
Proven web interface layout design and front-end coding.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Ensures developed code is versioned and proper source control is practiced.
Expert ability to create SQL Server tables, views, stored procedures, and other objects as necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication with end-users and customers.
Creativity when it comes to interface design.
Experience as a leader on a team that can take point on a project and see through to completion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
At least 3 years of full stack .NET development experience
Proficient with C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript/jQuery.
Strong experience with HTML, CSS UI/UX responsive design.
Experienced with Microsoft SQL Server and the SQL query language.
Able to lead agile teams and lead collaboration across teams, serving as an anchor for complex systems spanning multiple apps, services, APIs, and datastores. Must be a US Citizen Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
