Job Description and Position Responsibilities:
Penta Research Inc. is searching for an Acquisition Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will support the THAAD Project Office in the Missile Defense Agency. The acquisition analyst will perform a variety of roles including:
- Assist and develop with acquisition strategy and analysis during pre-solicitation through contract execution
- Provide and assist with guidance on regulatory requirements
- Develop and/or assist in development of government Contract Requirement Packages
- Assist and analyzes contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies, and business unit procedure
- Supports the development and/or review of acquisition and program management documentation, briefings, and white papers
- Assists with the development of Statements of Work/ Performance Work Statements, CDRLs, source selection plans, determinations and findings, simplified acquisition management plans, and other contract related documentation
- Provide support in review and comment on contractor technical evaluations and/or independent government estimates
- Assists with the establishment of long-range procurement objectives for requirements to be executed each fiscal year
- Assist in the preparation of senior leader briefings and other deliverables providing Acquisition status of all contract efforts.
- Perform in a high, up-tempo, and detail-oriented work environment.
- Participates in definition of assignments, including identification of work to be done and deadlines for completion; plans and organizes the work; interprets regulations; and coordinates with others as necessary. Completed work is generally reviewed by the supervisor for compatibility with goals and for effectiveness in meeting objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a field of business or 24 business related credit hours
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting acquisition programs in a Project Office, in the Army Contracting Command, or a similar capacity
- Must possess strong communications and analytical skills, be a self-starter, and detail oriented
Travel Requirement:
- Some travel, up to 10%, may be expected for this position. Position location: Huntsville, AL.
