Insight Global Lenel OnGuard Systems Engineer II/III - Clearable in Huntsville, Alabama

Job Description

We are looking for a Lenel OnGuard Systems Engineer to join the team immediately. This position does require the ability to get a government security clearance - up to a Secret level. This is an ONSITE role, with the potential for a remote day every now and again. There is a potential for this position to travel between 5-10% in a year.

Responsibilities:

- Supporting the Systems Engineering team

o Working with 4 other Engineers on site + 15 other Engineers that are remote and focused on proposals/designs for electronic security systems

- Team goal: write technical proposals for electronic security system designs for federal government sites across the nation.

o At 95% design approval by the customer the client will order the equipment to their site in Huntsville, AL

 This person will be working in the lab in Huntsville to program all Lenel panels and equipment before sending to the installation site so when it is installed, there is no programming needed to be done on site

- Assists in the configuration, commissioning and documentation of all system and network-level controllers as required.

- Assists in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation

- Perform hardware engineering, software engineering and network level commissioning for Federal Security Projects

Skills and Requirements

- Lenel Onguard certification Lenel S2 Certification

o Must be recent and have experience working with Lenel integrations in the last year

- 3-10+ years of experience in Lenel system integrations, configuration and programming

o Experience troubleshooting network and application level problems

o Experience with software engineering Lenel panels integrating with video surveillance and intrusion detection

o Experience designing and configuring access control, camera/video management systems, intrusion detection systems for federal customers

Ability to get a Secret level security clearance is required! - Honeywell Vindicator experience is a plus

- Preference for Sec+, Net+ certs null
