Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support various HR functions and contribute to the overall effectiveness of our HR department. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a passion for fostering a positive workplace environment. You will assist in employee evaluation processes, benefits administration, and change management initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment and communication of benefits information.
- Support the employee evaluation by coordinating performance reviews and maintaining relevant documentation.
- Participate in affirmative action planning efforts to promote diversity and inclusion within the organization.
- Facilitate training development initiatives by organizing training sessions and tracking employee participation.
- Maintain accurate data entry in HR systems, including Salesforce, to ensure up-to-date employee records.
- Assist with project management tasks related to HR initiatives, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Provide administrative support for various HR functions, including scheduling interviews and onboarding new employees.
- Stay informed about FMLA regulations and assist employees with related inquiries.
Skills
- Strong understanding of change management principles and practices.
- Experience with employee evaluation processes and performance management systems.
- Knowledge of affirmative action planning strategies is a plus.
- Proficient in benefits administration and related compliance requirements.
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with BAMBOOHR, QUICKBOOKS ONLINE, or similar HR software for data entry and record maintenance.
- Ability to develop training programs that meet organizational needs.
- Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.11 - $18.33 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
