JOB DESCRIPTION:
Brockwell Technologies, Inc. (BTI) is seeking a Full Time Embedded Software Developer to support our customer in Huntsville, AL. Remote work is not authorized for this position. The work will be conducted on-site at Redstone Arsenal (Huntsville, AL).
About the Position
As a Embedded Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing systems at the registry level for multi-core embedded Real-Time-Operating-System platforms to support development of future Army Aviation Platforms. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems meet strict timing, safety, and reliability standards while leveraging the full potential of multi-core architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-Core Optimization: Leverage multi-core architectures for real-time applications by developing efficient task scheduling and load-balancing strategies.
- Registry-Level Programming: Work directly with hardware registers to optimize performance, handle interrupts, and manage low-level hardware interactions.
- Integration: Integrate RTOS with multi-core hardware components, ensuring compatibility across various processors, microcontrollers, and peripheral interfaces.
- Testing and Debugging: Develop test cases and debugging strategies to ensure reliable and stable system performance across cores.
- Code Quality and Standards: Write clean, maintainable, and well-docume ted code following best practices and industry standards for safety-critical and real-time applications.
- Collaboration: Work with hardware engineers, application developers, and quality assurance teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for RTOS configurations, multi-core architecture, and user guides.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimum qualifications listed below:
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain
- 4-6 years of experience working with embedded systems
- 1-3 years experience working with Real-Time Operating Systems
Minimum Experience
- 4 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree
Education/Certifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or applicable field of study)
Security Clearance
- This position requires a DoD Secret Security Clearance government security clearance as a condition for placement and continued employment. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
- Candidates selected for this position will be subject to a background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
